Q. My questions aren’t covered in the FAQ section. Who can I ask?
A. For questions not answered here, go to the Contact Us page for information on how to contact a customer service representative by telephone or email.
Q. I may have found an error on the site. How should I report it?
A. We welcome your suggestions for improving the site. Please go to the Contact Us page and complete the form.

Q. What hardware/software components are required to take the online course?
A. You will need the following browser settings and plug-ins to take the online course.

 3. Course
Q. Who can take courses?
A. SOX Challenge courses are open to all. Depending on the course chosen, they are especially recommended for the following individuals in companies that must comply with U.S. Securities Exchange Commission requirements: middle level employees, senior finance managers, C-level executives, and anyone whose function or responsibilities could have an impact on SOX compliance.
Q. How can I enroll in courses?
A. You can enroll in courses either as an individual or a corporate user.

Individual users
1. To enroll, you must be a registered user of the SOX Challenge portal.
2. From the home page, log into the portal with your registered Email ID.
3. On the “Course” page, click the “Purchase Course Online” button OR go directly to the Purchase Course page by clicking here.
4. Make payment using Pay Pal.
5. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a course activation email with complete details on how to get started.

Corporate Users
1. To enroll, you must be a registered user of the SOX Challenge portal.
2. From the home page, login into the portal with your registered email Id.
3. Complete the “Purchase License Form” and purchase licenses either online or offline as follows:
 
Purchase licenses online
Select the option “Purchase Online”.
Complete the “Purchase License” form and submit your request.
Make payment for licenses using PayPal.
Purchase licenses offline
Select the option “Contact to Purchase”.
Complete the “Purchase License” form and submit your request.
You will receive an email specifying when our representative will contact you to complete the license agreement.
4. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a course activation email with complete details on how to get started.
5. Your designated Corporate Administrator will have the ability to add users to the course through the portal.
Q. When do courses start?
A. You will receive an email confirming your course activation and additional course details. Please read and save the message for future references as it contains your login details and course expiration date. You can also find these course details on your My Account page.
Q. How do I access my course?
A. You can access your online course by logging in on the SOX Challenge homepage using the username and password you chose when registering online. This information will also be sent in the email confirming your registration and/or enrollment. You can change your password anytime at your My Account page.

After logging in, you will be taken to the course landing page. From there, click on the “Start course” button to view your course.

Before accessing your course, make sure your computer meets the technical requirements related to hardware, software, browser plug-ins, and email specs.
Q. Where can I find instructions on how to use/access a course?
A. You can access detailed instructions from the last icon located in the Quick Navigation panel at bottom of the course window.
Q. How much time does the course require?
A. The course duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes. The SOX Challenge being an interactive e-learning course, you can take it at your convenience 24x7 during the course validity period.
Q. What is the course validity period for individual users?
A. Three months from the approved start date as noted on your course confirmation email notification. For details regarding course validity, please check your My Account page.
Q. What is the course validity period for corporate users?
A. Three months from the purchase of corporate license as noted on the email notification specifying the start and end dates. For details regarding course validity, period please check your My Account page.
Q. If I am unable to complete the course within the validity period, can I get an extension?
A. There is no provision to extend the course validity period beyond the specified end date. You will receive periodic email notification regarding your course validity/expiry date. Your course validity period and expiry dates are also displayed on your My Account page.
Q. Are there discounts for multiple corporate users?
A. Corporate discounts are available with the bulk purchase of licenses subject to specified terms and conditions. Discount information is made available at time of purchase or you may consult a sales representative for more information at Contact us.
Q. How can I track where I am in the course once I’ve begun?
A. The course outline page indicates the course duration (in learner hours). A course progress tracker, accessed from "My course History" on the Dashboard panel‚ helps the learners to know their course completion status. Please note, tracking the course progress depends upon the mode of delivery used for accessing the SOX Challenge course. The course can be tracked only if the course is taken online from SOX Challenge portal or if the course is installed in clients learning Management system.
Q. What are the delivery formats for SOX Challenge courses?
A. SOX Challenge courses can be delivered through:

Compact Disc (CD)
Q. How can I deliver SOX Challenge courses through our corporate LMS application?
A. If you have a SCORM compliant LMS application‚ the course content will be delivered in CD format. The CD files can be directly plugged into the existing LMS.

If you have a non-SCORM LMS‚ the course content can be delivered in a compatible format. In such a case‚ tracking users’ progress through the LMS will not be possible.
Q. Will I be given a Course Completion Certificate on Completion of SOX Challenge course.
A. Yes. Participants who successfully complete a SOX Challenge course will be awarded a certificate of completion.
Q. Can I log off and resume my course at a later time?
A. Yes. When you login again, you will see the prompt “Do you want to launch the course from where you had left earlier.” Choose “Yes” to restart where you left off. Choose “No” if you want to restart from the beginning of the module.
Q. Can I take the same module more than once?
A. Yes. You can take any part of the course as many times as you wish during the course validity period, which you can determine from your My Account panel.
Q. Can I study through the modules randomly?
A. Yes. You can navigate through the modules in any sequence you like. We recommend, however, that you study the modules in the order presented the first time through.
 4. Portal
Q. How many users can participate in the same course session?
A. SOX Challenge uses the “email ID” licensing method. Users access course sessions using their individual email ids. For security and copyright reasons, SOX Challenge does not support concurrent multiple users. Only one user per “email ID” can login at a time. Users may, however, review sessions as many time as they wish during the specified license validity period. Licenses may be renewed at a lower fee than the initial subscription charge.
Q. User classification and access limits on the Portal, Explained below:
A. The users for the portal are identified as below:

Users User Role
Public User Visitors to the portal with minimum information access along with courses menu
Registered User The users get access to Community, course demos.
They are 1 level above the public users
Learner They have purchased the course and undertaking the course hosted in this portal. Have full access to SOX challenge site.
Corporate Admin Corporate who is interested in purchasing the course for a group of users and after purchasing administer the course, track, monitor and report for his group of users
Corporate User User / Learner added for the course by the Corporate Administrator for one company
Q. How can I update my profile?
A. Once you have logged in, you can access your profile from your My Account page. You can update your profile by clicking View/Edit tab.
Q. How can I pay for SOX Challenge courses online?
A. Payment for SOX Challenge courses and corporate licenses can be made online through PayPal. You must be a registered user and have a credit card to use PayPal. The PayPal option appears automatically when you enroll for a course or purchase licenses.
Corporate
Q. After purchasing licenses how can I “add users” for the courses, and how will they know that they have been enrolled for the course?
A. From your Corporate Administrator Dashboard, click on the “Add Users” tab and fill in the requested information. The users you add will receive email notification of their course enrollment along with information about how to access the course.
Q. How will I know if my corporate users have taken a course?
A. From your Corporate Administrator Dashboard, you can generate user reports with information on courses started and not started, courses in-progress, and completed courses. You can access course participation information about each user including course history.
Q. How will I know when all the licenses purchased have been used?
A. Your Corporate Administrator Dashboard always shows you the number of licenses purchased and licenses used to date.
Q. How can I purchase additional licenses?
A. From your Corporate Administrator Dashboard, use the “Buy Additional Licenses” tab.
